Glory
The feeling of winning a long, drawn-out, and difficult case is a wonderful one. Especially when you know that your client was in the right and that you fought passionately and valiantly for their cause. This is the reason that our legal and judicial systems are in place—the reason they're so great (some of the time). There's lots pride and glory to be had in this biz. It's very much needed to balance out all of the guilt, shame, and regret you'll feel when you lose a case, or win one where you knew the defendant was guilty.
