Because mutual fund managers make such good money, many others would like nothing more than to knock them down, step on their faces, and climb up and over them in order to snag one of these coveted positions. It can be done, but you'd better be one smart cookie, and you'd better be ready and willing to put in a lot of time on your studies, and work your fingers and brain to the bone.
