Bank Marketing Association - BMA

There are a couple of steps here. The BMA is the marketing/publishing arm of the American Bankers Association (ABA). The ABA is a trade association and lobbying group for the U.S. banking industry. The BMA publishes newsletters on how to market financial services, and new and different marketing methods. Financial services, in their lingo, means the banking industry.

The ABA is always trying to increase the exposure and profitability of the banking industry. BMA is another organization within the ABA that is functioning like a Field Marketing Organization does in the insurance industry to help its membership (for a fee) extend its reach.
