Categories: Real Estate

Few documents engender the feeling of happiness among homeowners as much as a deed of reconveyance. This is a document that is issued from a lending institution when a mortgage has been paid in full, and is official notice for the public record that transfer of title to the property has now officially been made to the homeowner. The deed of reconveyance is proof for the homeowner that the bank no longer owns a security interest in the property, and that he or she cannot be foreclosed upon by a bank.
