If you were an independent insurance agent, where would you go to meet others in the field and talk shop? You could try Tinder, but you'd likely end up having a lot of non-insurance conversations along the way (and receiving a lot of definitively non-insurance-related pictures).
A more promising option: the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers Of America. The IIABA, or Big "I" as they like to be called (at least according to their website), boasts more than 250,000 members, all excited to chat into the wee hours about insurance.
