Off with his head Why Should I Care

Why Should I Care?

Hello? This phrase was said by a woman. Margaret doesn't fit any stereotype, and we love her for it. And then we pile on the fact that this was said in Shakespeare's day. Women didn't exactly roam around the streets shoving bloody handkerchiefs in men's faces. They didn't give commands. They didn't rule armies. And they certainly didn't decapitate people.

Sure, Margaret's quote is cool in it's own right. You can use it as a joke with your friends. (We hope you don't use it literally.) But we think "off with his head" is even more amazing because of the context.

A woman shouting orders in a time when women were only considered to be men's property? Now that's something to shout about.
