Shakespeare Words

Shakespearean, not stirred.

Gossip

Invented in The Comedy of Errors

With all my heart, I'll gossip at this feast (5.1.411)

Shakespeare is credited with inventing this puppy, though it has a pretty interesting etymological history that started, fittingly, with relatives. (Because, come on, who gossips more than families?)

In this play, it basically just means to speak with in a familiar way.
