Gorlois of Cornwall Timeline and Summary

Gorlois meets Merlin and Cadal as they leave Vortigern's court for Maridunum. Together, they learn news of Ambrosius' landing, and they ambush Vortigern's men on the road.
Gorlois fights on Ambrosius' "left" at the Battle of Kaerconan.
Gorlois supports Uther after Ambrosius' death and saves Uther's life through brilliant battle-planning.
Gorlois tries to defend his wife's honor by keeping King Uther out of Ygraine's bed. He asks for Merlin's help with Uther.
Gorlois flees the coronation early and shuts his wife up in Tintagel. He takes an army into the field to await Uther.
Gorlois tries a surprise attack on Uther's camp and fails horribly. He is killed right away.
