House: Gryffindor, 2nd Year
Colin is an over-enthusiastic Harry Potter Super Fan, who borders on being a stalker (or a budding paparazzo with his ever-present camera). We only see Colin briefly in this book, and that's because Harry runs away from him after Colin invites his idol to hang out with him and his pals on a Hogsmeade field trip day. Harry may have been bored and the only third year in the castle on Hogsmeade day, but he decided that nothing could tempt him into hanging out with Colin. We were just glad to see that Colin has given up stalking (like he did in Book 2) and made some friends in his own year. Just be glad that Colin didn't have access to the Internet yet, or he'd be blogging about his Harry-obsession all the time.
