Sir Galahad (Michael Palin)’s Timeline and Summary
- Galahad is selected with the rest of the knights off-screen and travels with them to Camelot, except not quite.
- When God gives them the quest to search for the Holy Grail, Galahad goes his own way and is having a tough time in the fog and rain until he finds a castle to cozy up in. It's ominously called Castle Anthrax.
- Inside, he ingests spores, becomes infected, and dies.
- Just kidding. Inside, he meets Zoot and some very lovely young ladies who try to seduce him. Galahad is strong at first but eventually begins to cave.
- But Lancelot rides to the rescue… sort of. Anyway, Galahad makes it out as chaste as he went in.
- He joins up with the rest of the team and after adventuring around for a year they meet Tim the Enchanter, who shows them the way to the cave wherein lies a clue to the Grail's location.
- Galahad tries and fails with the others to defeat the cave's ferocious guardian, the Killer Rabbit of Caerbannog. Luckily, they remember the Holy Hand Grenade and use it to defeat their foe.
- Inside the cave they're almost swallowed by the Legendary Black Beast of Aaarrggghhh, but its animator dies just in the nick of time.
- They get to the bridge where Lancelot makes the three questions look like a piece of cake; but when Robin gives it a go the third question isn't so easy.
- Fortunately, Galahad is asked the same questions Lancelot was asked, ending in, "what is your favorite color."
- Well, it appears Galahad needs to do some soul searching as he spends the rest of his existence in the Gorge of Eternal Peril. He's a poor man who doesn't even know his own favorite color.
