Professor Timofey Pnin Timeline and Summary

Pnin, in the first of many fumbles, takes the wrong bus to a lecture. He ends up hours late instead of 15 minutes early. Whoopsy-daisy.
The Clements take Pnin into their home, where he lives in their daughter's old room. She went off to get married, and we get some hints it's not going so great.
Ex-wife Liza storms back into Pnin's life only to ask for money and disappear once again.
The Clements kick Pnin out again when their daughter comes home. Who didn't see that coming?
Victor, Liza's son, visits Pnin in his new digs. It is underwhelming for everyone involved.
During the summer, Pnin goes to be amongst his people. He has a lot of fun at his friend's place in the woods.
The fun gets interrupted by a possible seizure/heart attack/way for the narrator to tell us some of Pnin's saddest memories.
It's school time again and Dr. Hagen, the boss, has some bad news. Pnin is probably going to be fired. Of course, everyone else finds this out before Pnin does.
Pnin find a house that he wants to buy, since he assumes he will be getting tenure soon. He has a house party and it actually goes off without a hitch.
Dr. Hagen kills the mood by telling Pnin that he's fired. Bummer.
The story gets pretty much taken over by VN, the dude who is also going to take over Pnin's job. Double bummer.
Pnin leaves the university and you've got yourself a book.
