Emma
- Emma gives Sydney Josh's number. She looks at the screen again and rolls her eyes at the picture of pregnant Sydney and the status: "My baby's having my first baby any day now" (27.6).
- Josh, meanwhile, is pestering Emma about what Sydney said. Emma calls him out and says that he must have been trying to get her attention at school.
- Josh tells Emma about what happened during Peer Issues class.
- He doesn't think it's a big deal, but they now realize that even that will change Josh's future in some way.
- Josh changes the subject by telling Emma about the list he made—he says that he's curious about what their other friends are like on Facebook.
- They are about to start looking people up but then they stop: The fact that Sydney just got Josh's number could mean that things have changed again.
- So they decide to wait before looking again, and Josh goes home to see if Sydney has called him yet.
