One of Mrs. Jukniene's neighbors. She contributes a little bit of money to Jurgis to pay for Madame Haupt Hebamme's useless midwifing services. So, even though Mrs. Olszewski poor and has a family of her own, she is still more willing to help out other people than the greedy businessmen who run Packingtown.
