• Aaron finds Todd in the swamp, at the beginning of the book.
• Aaron finds Todd in the swamp again, while he's running away and looking for the hole in the Noise. Aaron's face gets attacked by crocodiles.
• Aaron finds Todd and Viola together, but Todd manages to beat him into the ground.
• Aaron appears at the scene where Todd has just killed the Spackle; he stabs Todd in the back and takes Viola.
• Aaron has Viola captive when Todd catches up to them again. He loses Viola, but kills Manchee as vengeance.
• Aaron finds Todd and Viola in the cave at the end, where he and Todd battle to the death. Viola's the one to finally kill Aaron, and he falls off a cliff.
