Peter Quint Timeline and Summary

Quint first appears to the Governess atop one of Bly's towers.
Quint appears outside the library window.
The Governess sees Quint actually inside the house for the first time – they gaze at each other and he descends the staircase and disappears.
We don't see Quint, but when Miles goes out to the lawn at night, the Governess is certain that he's looking up at Quint on the tower.
As the Governess grapples with Miles's final confession about his expulsion, Peter Quint appears one last time outside the window, his "white face of damnation" peering in – he's horrifying!
