- David doesn't like the idea of Tally getting brain damaged, but Tally explains that she has to do this because she's so guilty. On a guilty scale of one to ten, she feels like an 11.
- Tally decides to tell David the truth about why she came to the Smoke, which Maddy already knew from Dr. Cable.
- David, however, did not know. He runs off, and we can't say we blame him.
- But Tally says that David will be the one to rescue her after she's turned pretty.
