College Essay Help
Get feedback from the experts.
Looking for college essay help? Subscribe to Shmoop's 12-month student plan, and the experts at Shmoop will help you take your essay to the next level.
How It Works
Step 1: Subscribe to Shmoop's 12-month student plan between November 1, 2016 and January 15, 2017. (Go to our Subscriptions page and then choose "Student 12 Month" as your plan type.)
Step 2: Anytime starting twenty-four hours after you've subscribed, email college.essay@shmoop.com and include (a) your Shmoop username (so we can confirm your subscription) and (b) a draft of your college application essay, either as a Microsoft Word document or Google document. Take your time, though. If your essay isn't ready for feedback right away, don't rush it. We'll accept submissions any time through January 30, 2017.
Step 3: Within a week, the experts at Shmoop will send your essay back with loads of comments. We'll give you feedback on everything: topic, coherence, organization, and even nitpicky things like sentence structure and grammar. Of course, on top of being experts in the college admissions process, we're also master storytellers here at Shmoop HQ. And since college application essays are all about storytelling—read: not putting admission officers to sleep—we're your go-to resource.
