Boundaryless Structure

A touchy-feely idea where status and rank are virtually eliminated. Instead of well-defined departments, multi-talented teams are made. And those teams can work with other teams and not necessarily go through any centralized channel.

It’s as if the Matrix Structure and the Simple Structure had a child and named it Boundaryless…and this child is rebelling against everything that is traditional in an organizational structure.

Maybe there are team leaders. There probably are. But they don’t have absolute authority.
