There's a tree trunk of a bank. Think: Corporate HQ, usually in New York. There are then extensions of it...more granular ways and places in which to lend money.
Those extensions are like little buildings with velvet ropes and security cams. Those are branches, or branch offices. And they have a manager. Woot.
