Hedge Fund

A fund for rich people.

Basically, a bunch of wealthy investors get together and pool their resources to invest together in a limited partnership. Usually, investors need to keep a certain amount in the fund and start off with a big investment (think in the millions or tens of millions of dollars). Hedge funds tend to invest in higher-risk stuff that can make big returns and in as non-traditional stuff, like movies.

You need to have tons of money and a good amount of investment know-how to invest in a hedge fund.
