Mission Critical

Categories: Company Management

Those bolts that weren't fitted properly in the latest SpaceX rockets that blew up. Hm. Turns out that they were mission critical. That is, the mission died, literally, becuase those critical elements didn't work.

Corporations have mission critical people and tech and legal structures that must be in place...or transactions can't happen. Militaries have mission critical weapons and intel and communications...or people die.

Mission critical is anything that's a show-stopper if it isn't in place. Like the star and her understudy in the revival of Cats.
