Jessica Jones is extremely different from the other superpowered beings in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. For one, she prefers faded jeans and a leather jacket to a giant hammer, spandex devil outfit, or a suit of red and gold armor. Jessica also doesn't consider herself a hero, and instead works as a private investigator, catching unfaithful spouses to pay for her rent and bottom shelf whiskey.
