The Hominids and Spacefolk

The hominids and the spacefolk: on the one hand, they couldn't be more different. The hominids are basically animals that have no language, must scrounge for survival, and can only use tools as simple as a club. The spacefolk speak many different languages, have a pretty comfy existence at the top of the food chain, and can build ships that cruise through space.

Both species cope with danger and fight for survival. They have common goals and challenges, but vastly different tools to deal with them.
