John/Parcher

Well, Parcher doesn't really exist, so it's hard to call him out as a true nemesis—but still, he's probably the closest thing that fits the bill. He starts out being friendly, but when John tries to get him to go away, he turns nasty and threatens to tell the Russians John is working for the Department of Defense.

Again, this is all total fiction—a product of John's hallucinations—but it comes off as pretty nasty and antagonistic, nonetheless. We suppose that all just means that John is his own worst enemy, right?
