Sunny Baudelaire Timeline and Summary

Sunny is playing at Briny Beach when Mr. Poe tells her that her parents have died in a terrible fire. Sad face.
She stays with Mr. Poe for a short time before going to live with the villainous Count Olaf.
One day, Count Olaf leaves a note instructing the children to make dinner for his theater troupe, so Sunny and her siblings find a recipe in a cookbook and prepare pasta puttanesca. Count Olaf does not appreciate the meal at all, though, and he threatens to hurt Sunny if they don't give him roast beef.
The next day, Sunny and her siblings go to visit Mr. Poe to tell them their troubles with Count Olaf, but Mr. Poe isn't inclined to help.
The next morning, Count Olaf informs Sunny that she and her siblings will take part in his upcoming play, The Marvelous Marriage.
Sunny watches as her siblings spend time reading law books to try to figure out what Count Olaf is up to.
The next morning, Sunny is kidnapped and imprisoned in a birdcage high on a tower by one of Count Olaf's associates.
Count Olaf threatens to have Sunny dropped to her death if her siblings won't participate in his play.
That night, Violet tries to rescue Sunny, but gets caught by the hook-handed man.
The next night, Count Olaf stops the play once Violet marries him and orders Sunny to be released.
Sunny shows up on stage just as Count Olaf's plan is starting to unravel.
Still, Count Olaf manages to escape, and in the end, Sunny and her siblings ride off with Mr. Poe in search of a new guardian.
