Howard Littlefield Timeline and Summary

Howard runs into Babbitt one morning while Babbitt is pulling out of the driveway to head to work. Littlefield agrees with Babbitt that what the country really needs is a White House that understands the needs of business.
One night, when Ted is having a party at the Babbitts', Howard Littlefield shows up and is aghast at the sight of his daughter Eunice dancing with boys. He orders her home and treats the Babbitts as though they're a bad influence on her.
During Babbitt's time of rebellion, Littlefield invites him over for dinner. But Babbitt refuses so he can hang out with people he finds more fun.
When he finds out that his daughter Eunice has married Ted Babbitt in a secret ceremony, Howard freaks out and demands that they get the marriage annulled immediately. This isn't going to happen, though, so he'll just have to learn to live with it.
