The Servants

Strictly speaking, there's no real guide or mentor in this movie. Belle and the Beast have to figure things out on their own, and while Maurice is a swell guy, he's not so good in the sage-advice department. The servants actually come closer to being mentors than anyone else: Lumiere helps guide Belle to her father in the dungeon, for example, and they work very hard to help the Beast put on a presentable face. It's not a perfect fit, but they're the closest thing we get.
