Mr. Hosokawa Timeline and Summary

The birthday party in Mr. Hosokawa's honor, thrown by an unnamed host country, is taken over by terrorists. Happy birthday?
Mr. Hosokawa meets Roxane Coss with the help of his translator Gen. Cue fanboy moment.
They get to be sort of friendly. Nothing too big in the early days of life as a hostage.
Mr. Hosokawa's employee, Kato, provides accompaniment for Roxane. Mr. H is proud like a daddy.
Mr. Hosokawa starts a relationship with Roxane Coss. Or rather, she starts it with him by getting Carmen and Gen to sneak him into her bedroom during the night.
Bliss ensues. Love, a vacation from work—it's easy to forget they're just there because they're hostages.
Mr. Hosokawa is tragically killed (accidentally) by the government forces sent to free the hostages. At least he gets a dramatic, even operatic, exit.
