These people don't have time for drugs. They're too busy cutting off thumbs, chopping concubines into pieces, gouging out eyes, smashing skulls with rocks, clobbering with a donkey's jawbone, beheading, stabbing, crushing, burning alive, and of course pounding tent-stakes into noggins. And that's just the stuff that doesn't involve sex. Besides your run-of-the-mill seduction, infidelity, and prostitution, there's also lots of sexual violence, including gang rape and bride kidnapping. This is very grown-up stuff.
