Master Aleyn of Lynn Timeline and Summary

Master Aleyn proclaims it a miracle when a beam and stone fall from the roof of St. Margaret's and land on top of Kempe without hurting her.
Aleyn meets Kempe at West Lynn, along with her husband and Robert Spryngolde, after she has been arrested several times for Lollardy.
Aleyn tries to persuade the "Good Friar" to be patient with Kempe's screamings and not to persecute her.
Aleyn's ecclesiastical superiors forbid Aleyn from speaking to Kempe.
Aleyn passes Kempe in the street and cannot acknowledge or greet her.
Master Aleyn falls gravely ill and is thought to be near death.
Kempe has a revelation in which she's promised that Aleyn will not die before she speaks to him again.
Aleyn recovers and is allowed to see Kempe again. They meet at a dinner, and their friendship is renewed.
