Ex-Boyfriends

Who doesn't have a bad ex-boyfriend in this story? Paul's is Kyle, who dumped him after deciding Paul had tricked him into liking guys; Noah's, though we never meet him, is Pitt, who broke his heart and left him afraid to trust; Joni's is Ted, who's finally banished from her life after their twelfth breakup. (You might say Chuck was a lateral move at best, and you would be right.)

All our interactions with the people in our current life are in some way shaped by our interactions with the people in our past, especially when it comes to romantic relationships. The characters in Boy Meets Boy, especially Paul, make some unwise moves based on past hurts. Note to the wise: pity is never a good reason to kiss someone.
