• Mickey has a concussion and feels awful.
• He doesn't want his wife to go to China.
• Mickey can't work because of the concussion so he sits around watching TV.
• After Wahoo accepts a job with Expedition Survival!, Mickey agrees to do the job but says that Derek Badger is a handful. He isn't looking forward to it.
• Admiring his big python, Beulah, Mickey thinks about the first snake he caught but is brought back to earth when Beulah chomps down on his foot.
• Even though there is a massive snake coiling around him and eating his foot, Mickey remains calm and collected.
• When Derek arrives to view the animals, Mickey treats him nicely until he tries to convince Mickey that he can handle moving Alice.
• Since Derek won't meet his terms (either swimming with Alice at his house or taking the smaller gators elsewhere), Mickey says goodbye and walks away. He will not risk harming Alice.
• During filming, Derek complains that the turtle won't open its mouth, so Mickey gives him a branch, which the turtle quickly snaps in two and nips Derek's nose.
• While Derek attacks Beulah, Mickey attacks him. Yikes.
• That is the end of the job as far as Mickey is concerned, but Derek persuades him to let Derek swim with Alice for four thousand dollars extra.
• The next day, Mickey arrives with an unloaded gun and ends up saving Derek from being tossed around by Alice.
• Knowing how desperately the family needs money, Mickey accepts another wrangling job from Derek despite his better judgment.
• Mickey intends to confront Jared Gordon, but is stopped by his son.
• On the phone with Raven, Mickey tries to convince her that Derek has no business with real wild animals.
• Mickey gets into a heated debate with Link, the airboat driver, about whether the alligator in the swamp is stuffed. Mickey can't leave it alone and keep his mouth shut.
• Mickey catches a snake for Derek and then heats it up on purpose to make it more aggressive. It works, and the snake bites Derek all over.
• When Derek tries to eat a bat and the bat chomps down on his tongue and won't let go, Mickey comes and tickles the bat, which makes the bat let go.
• Then Tuna's drunk dad shows up and Mickey attempts to trick him into leaving but instead gets kidnapped by him and forced to drive a boat.
• While Jared hunts for his daughter, Mickey uses every ounce of patience and wit to outsmart the man but keeps failing.
• Finally, in order to protect his son, Mickey totally shoots off his mouth and gets shot in the foot.
• By the end, he feels better—no more headaches now, just a missing toe.
