Prison Chaplain

The prison chaplain's whole beef with Ludovico's Technique stems from his belief that forced morality is no better than chosen evil. He's the first to caution Alex against the dangers of Ludovico's Technique, and also the first to sympathize with Alex's loss of moral choice. Although he doesn't guide Alex in the traditional way, his thoughts and beliefs definitely pave the way for Alex's own.

Peter

Originally one of Alex's droogs, Peter grows up to be a responsible adult leading a "normal" and happy life. When Alex bumps into Peter and Georgina in Chapter 21, he is inspired by Pete's apparent contentment to seek out a normal life for himself. Peter can claim at least partial credit for Alex's growth and transformation.
