Cathy Timeline and Summary

When we first meet Cathy at the start of Act 2, she's playing in a park and chanting dirty nursery rhymes.
Cathy wants attention from her mom, Lin, but Lin just wants Cathy to go play.
Cathy makes a painting of a car crash with lots of blood. Betty comes along and can't tell what it is. So she just assumes it's a picture of something nice and ladylike.
Cathy asks Betty if she can wear her hat and jewelry, and Betty is happy to oblige. Lin, on the other hand, doesn't want to see her daughter dressing up in girly clothing, so she puts a stop to it.
Later on, Cathy tells her mother she's not going to go to bed, and Lin threatens to smack her if she doesn't behave.
While playing in the park, Cathy gets beaten up by a group of young boys called the Dead Hand Gang, who tell her that she can't play because she's a girl. Cathy is confused and heartbroken, and the last we see of her she is walking away to get ice cream with Victoria.
