"I too"
It's a small thing, but you can't say "I too" repeatedly without seeming to channel Walt Whitman. He always wants to make fast friends with his readers by claiming to have had the exact same things happen to him – even when it's not exactly the case. In this poem, he's all, "Remember the time you took the ferry from Manhattan to Brooklyn and saw those sea gulls and the foundries and the clear cool water? I too had that experience!" Chances are that most of his modern readers have not had this experience. But it's "curious": by the time you finish the poem, you almost feel as if you had.
