Exactly how steamy is this story?
We'd be lying if we said Daisy Miller were anywhere close to steamy. Winterbourne, our male lead, is about as sexy as the bibs they give you at the dentist. And Daisy, our female lead, is basically a child. No one ever gets it on in any way, big or small, unless Daisy and Mr. Giovanelli are making out behind a parasol when they're blocked from Winterbourne's (and hence our) view.
It should be mentioned, however, that James is fond of bizarre sexual puns; so if you really look hard, you'll find little Randolph penetrating things with his walking stick and Winterbourne telling Daisy how hard she makes it for him… but we're certainly not going to tell you where they are.
