Patty Day Timeline & Summary

Patty Day is a single mother with a farm and four kids. She's overwhelmed.
The last straw comes when Patty's son, Ben, dyes his hair and is accused of child molestation in the same day.
Patty and his sister, Diane, search for Ben but can't find him. Does Patty know her son at all?
That day, Patty confronts the family of Ben's accuser, Krissi Cates. She gets thrown out of their house and later gets yelled at by her deadbeat husband, just to make matters worse.
Inside Ben's bedroom, Patty finds a notebook (with Krissi Cates's name in it) as well as a sack of girls' underwear.
Patty doesn't know this is Ben's stash for his unborn daughter. She thinks it's evidence, so she burns the clothes.
Afraid Ben will need an attorney, Patty makes a deal with a hit man to kill her, so her family can collect the life insurance.
That night, Patty is stabbed, but her daughter, Debby, sees the murder, and Debby is killed too, right in front of her.
Patty dies wishing she'd never made the decision that she did.
