- When Pampinea proposes the trip and Filomena objects, Elissa seconds her and says that they will have a hard time finding any men still alive to accompany them.
- At the end of the Fifth Day, she's crowned queen by Fiammetta. She has a hard time reining in Dioneo, who keeps suggesting filthy songs to sing at the conclusion of the day.
