Deucalion
Deucalion
Deucalion was a total goody two-shoes. Good thing, too, because it saved the lives of him and his wife Pyrrha. See, way back in the day, Zeus decided that humanity was completely corrupt, so he sent a giant flood to drown everybody. Well, everybody except the god-fearing Deucalion and Pyrrha, that is. At the advice of his dad, Prometheus, Deucalion built a floating wooden chest. (Sounds a lot like Noah, right?) The last man and woman ended up landing on the top of Mt. Parnassus, where they hung out until the water went away. After that, they threw some rocks over their shoulders to create a new race of human beings. Aw, we love happy endings.
