Pollux (The Boy); also the Tall Man and the Second Man

In Chapter 11, all three intruders emerge as antagonists – they are without a doubt the "bad guys" of this novel. While he initially appears to be a mere sidekick in the crime, however, Pollux ultimately emerges as Disgrace's main antagonist. Though we can never be completely sure because, like David, we weren't there when Lucy was raped, it becomes apparent that he is most likely the father of Lucy's unborn child. When you think about it, this means that his assault on Lucy will have the longest-lasting, the most complicated, and the most troubling effects. He has little remorse for what he did (though, via Lucy, we learn that he may be either emotionally or mentally disturbed), and this becomes one of the major conflicts that our protagonist David must face.
