Evgraf Zhivago Timeline and Summary

Evgraf shows up one night on the street, staring at Yuri Zhivago.
Evgraf's too shy to talk to Zhivago, and Zhivago has no clue who he is.
Only later do we find out that Evgraf is Zhivago's half brother and that he's been visiting Zhivago during an illness. Apparently, he's a huge fan of Zhivago's published books.
During the rough Moscow winters, Evgraf proves that he has the power to help Zhivago and his family out. It's strange that Evgraf has this kind of pull with the local government, considering how young he is.
By the time we see Evgraf again, Zhivago has died. Evgraf is a general in the Russian military and he sees to it that Zhivago's family and his funeral arrangements are taken care of.
In the final section of the book, Evgraf meets Zhivago's long-lost daughter Tanya and promises her that he'll take care of her financially, in honor of his dead brother.
