Electra

The Sophocles version of the play differs from that of his predecessor, Aeschylus, in that Electra, and not Orestes, is the center of the play. She gets the most stage time and the most text time, and she's also the most complicated character we've got. It's interesting to note that, despite being the focus of the play, Electra doesn't do much in the way of action. She mostly talks or laments, in comparison to her brother Orestes, who really drives the play's dramatic action.
