See, when these two butt heads, it becomes clear that they are both dealing with the fact that they come from unconventional families. They also both don't perfectly fit into a racial category; despite the fact that Trevor hates on Jesus Boy for being white, he comes from a mixed race background and has a white father. And Jesus Boy may seem perfectly white and like he belongs on the other side of the highway, but both of his parents are black—he's an adopted kid. These two have way more in common than they realize, it seems.
