Claudia Kinkaid

Claudia Kinkaid is larger than life. For a twelve-year-old, this girl packs a lot of attitude and confidence and isn't afraid to show it. She's the one who decides to run away. She's the one who forges a serious connection with a marble statue. And in the end, she's the one who convinces Jamie that they should go confront the legendary recluse Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler because they have some questions to ask her. Claudia's all about making things happen, and it's her actions that propel the story along. Plus, we're rooting for her—big time.
