Aunt Alicia

For Gigi, her Aunt Alicia is her tutor in all things feminine. The role couldn't be more clear cut, as she carts Gigi around her chambers getting her to "chew" the wine to detect its flavor or discussing the catastrophe of fake pearls. After all, Aunt Alicia is an ex-courtesan herself, and who better to show you the ropes than someone who's been there herself.

Honoré Lachaille

For Gaston, it's up to his fun-loving uncle to help him master the ancient art of loving them and leaving them. Sometimes Gaston takes Honoré's advice, and sometimes he doesn't. But at every turn the older man wants Gaston to preserve his masculine pride, which nearly always means jilting a woman before she has a chance to jilt you. He also advises Gaston never to stick with women under thirty.
