Sean Maguire

Sean Maguire is a reluctant mentor at first, and it's not as if Will welcomes him to the job with open arms. But over time, he manages to win Will's trust and make progress with him.

And by progress, we mean that Maguire helps Will deal with a lot of the emotional scars that have been left behind by the brutal abuse he suffered as a child. And as with any good mentor, Maguire ends up learning just as much from Will as Will does from him. Will helps teach Maguire to move on after losing his wife, Nancy, and to have new experiences with the time he's got left.
