Affiliation: Order of the Phoenix

Fred (and his constant companion and twin brother, George) doesn't feature heavily in this book, but when he does, he's the same old wise-cracking, good natured joker we're used to – all the way up until the moment of his death. He dies in the midst of one last joke, with his last charming smile on his face. Throughout the novels, Fred has been a fiercely loyal, brave, good-hearted, and hilarious character – and his death is one of Deathly Hallows' cruelest blows.
