Time to Seal the Deal
- Everyone has been talking for a long time, which means the ideas and beliefs of 58 nations are represented somewhere in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
- Yup, all 58 member nations—and that's pretty impressive.
- But remember, compromises have to be made—it's definitely possible to argue for eternity about revisions, but wouldn't it be better to actually get this Universal Declaration of Human Rights approved?
- The United States thinks everyone did a pretty good job and totally supports the final product, despite the fact that it doesn't have everything everybody wants.
- But no need to rehash that here—it's all on record already.
