Farewell (1942)
- Keiko's parents let her skip chores for the day so she can bid a proper farewell to Henry.
- She says she's going to miss him, and Henry reminds her that he'll be waiting—he won't forget about her or abandon her, no matter how long it takes.
- When it's time to go, Henry holds her close and kisses Keiko again. Then he walks away, thinking about how much he loves her.
- He even mouths the words to her, and he knows that she understands because he sees Keiko saying the same thing.
