• 1982, Susan Calvin is born (Introduction.2), Lawrence Robertson incorporates US Robots and Mechanical Men, Inc.
• 1998, "Robbie": Robbie gets taken from Gloria temporarily (Introduction.39, Robbie 225); Calvin observes Gloria talking to the Talking Robot and writes a Physics-1 paper inspired by that (Robbie.185)
• 2002, Calvin attends a Psycho-Math seminar led by Dr. Alfred Lanning (Introduction.3)
• 2003, Calvin gets her B.S. from Columbia (Introduction.5)
• 2008, Calvin gets her Ph.D., and starts work for US Robots (Introduction.8)
• 2015, "Runaround": Powell and Donovan investigate Mercury, and have trouble with Speedy (Robbie.253)

• 2032, "Evidence": Francis Quinn sucks Lanning and Calvin into an investigation of whether Stephen Byerley is a robot when he runs for mayor (Evidence.7)
• 2044, all of Earth joins into one federation (Evidence 305)
• 2044-52, Byerley serves as world coordinator for the Earth for two terms (Evidence.305, 307)
• 2052, "The Evitable Conflict": Byerley asks Calvin for help in figuring out if the Machines are rebelling or if people are sabotaging the Machines; the answer is that the Machines are helping to lead our destiny
• 2057, Stephen Byerley "dies" (Evidence.5)
• 2058, Calvin retires and talks to the interviewer about the history of robots (Introduction.9)
